Laura pulled and tugged at the back of her panties, but they refused to triumph her round bubble of an ass. Breathing heavily, she looked down at her blouse.
There was no hiding her condition. The shirt was stretched at the seams, buttons straining to contain her. And her belly button was protruding prominently against the taut material. She looked blatantly pregnant. In fact, she looked as though she was eight months along. The plump C-cups on her chest were tightly squeezed in the material, full and uncomfortable as they were.
Though her coworkers were just getting increasingly confused about her rapid weight gain, Laura could tolerate it. She had done it before. Laura rubbed her lower belly as she felt a faint flutter within it, and tried not to think about how her parents called regularly, hounding her, wanting to know what was going on. She hadnt seen them in months, and frankly, she didnt think she could face them. Not like thisplumply knocked up. It was mortifying. And they would be so disappointed in her.
Her ears burning, Laura tugged at her panties some more. It unnerved her that she was only eighteen weeks along.
There was a knock on the door.
Laura pulled on a robe and exited her bedroom. She peeked through the peephole on the front door and saw no one. Stepping back, Laura opened the door just slightly.
It seemed that the delivery man was gone but had left a single package on the porch. It was large, and it was with some difficulty and awkwardness that Laura managed to get it inside and to the living room couch.
Laura eased herself down. The box was addressed to her, but there was no return label on it. Laura opened it and reached inside.
She was surprised to encounter clothing. As she lifted different garments, and examined them more closely, she realized that it was maternity wear. There were some long sleeve shirts, as well as Ts and tank tops that looked like they would hug her form. There were some bras too. Laura lifted a frilly apron and stared at it.
Something buzzed in her pocket. Laura pulled out her phone and turned it on speaker. What? she snapped, expecting it to be her mother, angling to lecture her again.
Do you accept this collect call?
Laura groaned. Sure. There was a pause as the line changed. Derek?
You still haven't visited.
Laura reddened. What is all this stuff?
So you received the package? I just want you to be comfortable. I know this is a difficult time for you.
Laura continued to stare at the apron.
I could have used some work clothes, she grumbled.
No you don't, said Derek sternly.
Laura raised her eyebrows.
I want you to get accustomed to being my
housewife, Derek continued, causing Laura to blink. Cooking, cleaning, taking things easy. That's the future I have in store for us.
Laura reddened more. You must be out of your mind.
Who else is going to take care of all our children?
It was the very question that Laura routinely spent hours pondering upon. It gave her anxiety just thinking about how she would balance work and the children. She already had three, and at least two babies on the way
possibly more. Youre in jail, she breathed.
Thats temporary. I want to take care of you permanently. Why not just give it a try?
Was Derek suggesting that she quit her job? Become dependent on him again? Laura frowned but said nothing. She still hadnt cashed the check. As much as she had convinced herself that Derek owed her the money, Laura just couldnt surrender herself again.
How are you? said Derek.
Laura shrugged, not that Derek could see it.
I miss you.
Laura swallowed.
Come see me this weekend.
I'm too fat, Laura mumbled unthinkingly.
Derek sucked in a sharp breath, like that bit of info had been more than he could handle. And then, calmly, he said, Youre fine. Youre barely halfway along. Dont shut yourself in.
It was almost a challenge. During her last pregnancy, she had been completely isolated. Laura never wanted to experience that sort of thing again. You kidnapped me, said Laura weakly.
You were carrying my children. You were mine. You still are.
Both sat on the phone not speaking for a while, Laura silently fuming. It seemed that Derek was still as psychotic as ever.
Give me something. Derek broke the silence. Anything. He sounded pathetic.
Laura hesitated. She understood what Derek was asking for. And Laura couldnt deny that she enjoyed having something he wanted. Depriving him of it. Leaving him weak, practically begging. Laura absently stroked the mound. I
She trailed off as she blushed, and she didnt know if she should continue. I already look like Im almost due, she said, her cheeks burning. Derek chuckled and it was a truly nice sound. You outdid yourself, Derek, said Laura grudgingly. I feel like a blimp.
My apologies.
Laura rolled her eyes. Youre not sorry.
Derek chuckled again.
I guess your package came right on time. None of my clothes fit anymore. I cant stop eating. And the other week
I think they were having a growth spurt. I could practically feel them pushing at me till my stomach popped out. Though it hadnt been Lauras intention, all of her thoughts came spilling out.
I want to see you, said Derek firmly. Now.
Laura inhaled. Iumsoon, she promised, though she didnt know whether she was lying or not. Before Derek could demand a more definitive time, Laura hung up the phone, feeling flustered.
Laura then sat in the living room in silence for a while, absently stroking her belly as she stared at the wall.

Though she would be able to survive without working if she cashed Dereks check, Laura was stubborn about quitting her job. She didnt want to give up her independence. Lauras memories of being at Dereks mercy made her shudder. But now her blouses stretched tightly over her belly, and her colleagues were getting increasingly curious about her.
Paper towels, Laura mumbled to herself as she read over her grocery list one evening. She felt exhausted and uncomfortable in her tight work-clothes. She wanted nothing more than to go home and put her feet up but she had a few things to pick up before she could end her day.
The long shifts were really taking their toll on her. Her back was sore, her chest aching, and she felt on the brink of collapse. Worse, Laura didnt know what she would do when she actually had the children. She didnt think she could handle it all alone.
Hey you.
Laura looked up in surprise. It was the guy she had bumped into during her last trip to the store. Hi
Funny meeting you here, the stranger flirted. He glanced at Lauras belly in surprise. Chad.
Laura averted her eyes. Laura.
Ive been thinking about you, Laura.
You dont even know me.
All the more reason for us to go out.
Laura bit her bottom lip. Derek wouldnt like that. Derek would say-
Fuck Derek.
Maybe, said Laura. She felt a sense of doom as she and Chad exchanged numbers. But afterwards, Chad smiled with such an intensity of joy that Laura couldnt help smiling back.
Chad was slightly taller than Laura, and gently muscled. Laura self-consciously folded her arms against her belly.
How about this weekend? said Chad.
Derek had asked Laura to visit over the weekend. But Laura shook these thoughts aside. Sure.

Laura felt drained. She was getting bigger every day.
By the time Friday rolled around, Laura found herself gazing at her mirror, wondering what the hell she was doing. She was pregnant. She shouldnt have been going out.
She felt nervous and uneasy, and wondered if she should cancel. She wanted to so badly. But equally, she wanted to move on from Derek. She wasnt sure if it was possible, but this would be her best effort.
Laura had had a doctors appointment that afternoon before the date. But she sort of just stared off throughout the physical exam, too absorbed in her thoughts to pay Doctor Jefferies any mind. Laura winced as she was given another vitamin shot.
Everything looks good, said Jefferies. Your weight is really climbing. I think that we can do a sonogram at your next appointment. Find out exactly what were working with.
Laura had grudgingly thanked Jefferies, heaved herself up, and left.
Shed met Chad at the movies a few hours later. Laura hadnt known what to wear, so just pulled on some work clothes. She liked that the format of the date meant that she didnt have to speak. Instead she munched on popcorn as she felt that fluttering return. Laura restrained herself from rubbing her belly, even in the darkness.
But suddenly there wasnt just fluttering, but tension as well. It grew, and worsened, until Laura felt heated and was reminded of the episode two weeks ago. Dropping the popcorn, she held her belly, panting as the pressure grew and grew.
You okay? Chad whispered beside her.
F-fine, Laura managed to say back, her chest heaving as her clothes tightened, and she could physically feel her belly inching, rolling outward, swelling larger as diamonds of skin formed between her buttons, and her blouse straining to contain her.

What will Chad thinks if he notices? Hopefully he has better taste than to abandon a rapidly expanding kinky preggo!
