Prompt - Bug II

Rhonda sat in her doctor's office, hunched down, quietly panting. Every so often she would feel a sensation in her abdomenit reminded her of a hiccup, but it occurred deep within the pit of her stomachafter which she would feel slightly fuller, tighter, her belly even seeming larger as minutes ticked by and this proceeded.
It had been an hour already that she had been sitting in the crowded waiting room. That was the hazard of making a last-minute appointment. The wait time was considerable.
Rhonda ran her hands over her midsection, stunned that she already looked five months pregnant.
The insect-like mound that had adhered to her groin trembled from time to time. It was presently concealed in her loose sweatpants, though it was a noticeable bulge. It resembled a fat grub, about the size of a grapefruit but the shape of a lemon, protruding from her and tapering at the end.
Rhonda's stomach lurched and became yet tighter. She groaned quietly as the sac squirmed.
Most of the other people in the waiting room took little notice of Rhonda's hunched-over form. The occasional person would look at Rhonda and do a double-take, as if surprised that they had not noticed her before.
Rhonda was actively growing. She was flushed and sweaty, and breathing heavily as she tried to endure her ongoing changes.
She was relieved when she finally heard her name being called by a medical assistant. Rhonda slowly got up from her chair and awkwardly proceeded to the door, careful not to put too much pressure on the insect-like sac sprouting from between her legs. She followed the medical assistant into an exam room, refraining from clutching the mound as it jiggled. As Rhonda sat down, she felt another of those hiccup sensations, and couldn't help groaning as her belly gently pushed out. It was getting so tight. Rhonda gasped for breath.
Now the medical assistant was staring. She blinked hard a few times, as though suspecting her eyes were deceiving her. She then proceeded to take Rhonda's vitals as Rhona struggled to contain any more episodes of growth. She didn't even know if it was possible.
"Blood pressure elevated. So is your pulse and temperature. What brings you in today?"
"I've experienced a recent...growth."
The assistant looked at Rhonda quizzically. "Care to elaborate?"
"I'd prefer to just show the doctor," Rhonda mumbled, not wanting to be rude.
The medical assistant frowned. "I see that you're expecting. How far along are you?"
"I just need to see the doctor," Rhonda repeated, her arms folded against her abdomen.
The medical assistant turned to her computer console and typed for a few minutes. "The doctor will be with you shortly." And she left the room.
Rhonda tried her best to hold on. By then she was soaked in sweat, her clothes sticking to her. The growth was too rapid for her to withstand it for much longer. It wasnt like a pregnancy, which was slow and steady. She felt as though she was actively being pumped with contents.
There was a mirror directly opposite the medical table, and through it, Rhonda could see her flushed reflection. She was wearing a long-sleeved T-shirt that was stretched over her 6-month-pregnant-looking belly in addition to some loose sweatpants. Her irises seemed larger and darker than usual, taking up more of the whites of her eyes than it should have.
Rhonda hugged herself. Her sides were aching, just a few inches beneath her arms. Rhonda rubbed the tender, heated area. What next? she thought, feeling anxious and miserable.
Another glance in the mirror gave her pause. Something was poking out of her hair, just a few inches in length. They looked like little twigs or something. Rhonda reached up and lightly touched the protrusions. She groaned as the top of her head tingled, the two twig-like protrusions pushing out and lengthening. They pointed outwards in opposite directions, and felt more firm and flexible than twigssmoother too. They almost looked like an insects antenna. And they were growing longer by the moment. One twitched on her head. Rhonda stared at herself in shock.
Doctor Randall walked in. Rhonda, good to see you. What brings you in today? His eyes flickered to her apparent pregnancy and then her flushed, sweaty complexion.
Rhonda was still stunned about the two black antenna now protruding from her hair. They hung down somewhat, each about seven inches long. The doctor either had not noticed or thought them to be some sort of fake attachment.
But for Rhonda, the room was spinning. Im not sure whats h-happening. Another of those hiccup sensations. Rhonda hugged her belly as it pushed out at least an inch.
Rhonda, are you okay? said Dr. Randall in concern. Can you hear me?
Hiccup.
Her belly button popped out. Now the growths were accompanied by a tingling pressure on her groin where it attached to the creature. Her face reddened even more. It was an uncomfortable but also arousing sensation. She felt the impulse to push, but was terrified.
Dr. Randall was now feeling her forehead. Can I get a nurse in here? he called out the door.
Another hiccup, and her belly felt ready to pop. Nnnggghhhh ohhhh... Rhonda moaned. She couldn't handle the pressure. She whimpered, and finally pushed.
Her eyelids fluttered as she felt the bizarre sensation of something popping out of her, and into the insect-like sac that she was adhered to. Hahhh hahhhh Rhonda breathed, clutching at the heated mound in her sweatpants. It almost felt as though it was throbbing now. There was another hiccup, and so she pushed another lump into the sac.
Now she could feel it plumpening, stretching with ease, like it was supposed to. It had none of the tension that filled her belly. Instead, there was only capacity. Rhonda pushed again and again as the sac swelled within her in pants. Egg after egg was pushed inside of it as her loins seeped, leaving the sac sleek with her juices. Dr. Randall stared blankly as the groin of Rhondas pants stretched out, until the sac finally began to protrude from the hem, flushed, plump, and glorious.
Rhonda just panted, her breasts wiggling as her chest heaved. She felt so much better. So much relief. But now there was a burning at her tender sides. She groaned. Oh god The pressure became painful. She couldnt hold it anymore. She couldnt stop it. She arched her back and spread her arms. She spread all of her arms. The two that she had, and the two that burst free of her sides, tearing through her shirt.
Rhonda looked down at herself in amazement. Her two new arms were presently covered in green goo, but they otherwise matched the first pair, and were directly beneath them. The pain was gone. Now they just tingled with heat and possibility. Rhonda experimentally wiggled her brand new fingers.
Dr. Randall collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
