Prompt - Delayed Puberty

Tina had to pause. The way her nipples rubbed against the material of her loose T-shirt made her redden. She took a deep breath, then slowly, carefully, continued in her task of scrubbing down the staircase. Despite her measures, however, every so often her nipples would again rub against the soft fabric, causing her to shiver. By the time Tina finished washing down the last step, she was trembling, and her breasts were tingly.
Which wasnt to say that they were particularly impressive. At twenty-eight, Tina was a skinny, and relatively flat-chested, girl. She was pretty, though, with large dark eyes and hair to match. Tina had never really needed a bra, and her breasts had never been sensitive enough to be bothered by her tops, but over the next few days, things seemed to change.
Initially, she thought she was imagining it. Tina awoke the day after she cleaned the stairs to notice that her breasts seemed somewhat puffier than usual, pushing out slightly from her usually-flat chest.
As the days passed, the swelling increased, until it didnt really seem like swelling. It was more like additional weight localized in her chest. It was like her breasts were growing, which didnt make sense. She was twenty-eight after all. Was she undergoing a hormonal change? Was this some sort of a delayed puberty.
Soon Tina had B-cups on her chest, and she found herself bra-shopping for the first time. It was exciting but also embarrassing. Her coworkers at the grocery store where she worked looked at her now, with skeptic gazes and cocked heads. Nobody just grew breasts at twenty-eight. They probably thought she was stuffing her bra.
Within another week, Tinas breasts had grown to Cs. She couldnt deny her delight at this development. They were bigger than average. They were full mounds, plump, and perfect, with not even a hint of sag. Her areola had gotten pink and bloated, nipples large and puffy, and more sensitive than Tina had even imagined was possible. On the few occasions Tina did go out without a bra, the mounds jiggled relentlessly on her chest, the friction of her nipples rubbing against her top causing her to stop in place several times, her juices slowly soaking through her panties.
And yet she kept growing. In another few days, Tina had full D-cups on her chest.
Few of her tops fit her anymore, or had shrunken to belly-shirts and bandeaus. Some of her low-cut tops left her breasts bulging heavily against the necklines. Others were so tight, they were close to tearing apart. Her nipples stuck out like coke caps, her mounds bobbing when she walked around. They looked so unnatural on Tinas thin frame. Tina was fascinated, amazed, and even a little intimidated by them. She enjoyed them, nonetheless. She enjoyed the way people gawked at her, in shock, lust, or jealousy. Tina didnt care what they thought of her. All that mattered was that she knew that they were real.
She went to the lingerie store one day after work for her newest round of bras. She tried on several D-cup bras, but they were all painfully tight. She tried on some DD-cups, but her breasts were still bulging out of them.
Tina stared in the fitting-room mirror, at the way her plump, round chest bulged away from her otherwise slim body. The tight bra she had on was close to tearing open. Tina reached behind her, struggling to unlatch it. She didnt want to have to pay for it when it split apart.
There was a light rap on the door. Is everything all right in there, miss? a store clerk called.
Yes, Tina called back. By the way, I was wondering
do you carry E-cups? Or EEs?
There was a pause. Um

well, I could look around, the store clerk responded.
That would be greatly appreciated, Tina forced out. She heard the store clerk walk away, then heaved a sigh.
At the rate she was growing, she would be massive in another week or two. Still, she didnt know whether to be excited or concerned. With her pointer finger, Tina lightly stroked her right nipple. She reddened and shivered, her loins tingling. And then she hesitated, and stroked her nipple some more.

I actually know someone that a similar thing happened to. She had ingested a bunch of lead as a child so she never grew properly, stopping at about a B, and after her son about a D. She changed seizure meds at about 36 which leeched the lead out of her growth plates and aside from growing three inches taller, now she's a 28J.
