-
Though he could probably pass for an underclassman, Ryan was a senior in high school. At eighteen, he was rather slim and not that tall either. Inexplicable enough, Ryan was quite popular, largely due to his talents in tutoring football players. In fact, Ryans tutoring sessions seemed to occupy all the football players free time.
But Jenny knew better. She knew that when the football players werent buying
essays and test answers from Ryan, he was selling them performance enhancing
drugs he cooked up in the little nerd-shack he lived in.
Jennys boyfriend, John, was captain of the football team. She saw little of John as it was, and now he was back to being detached and aggressive, and out of his mind half the time. She had just gotten John off drugs a few months earlier. Jenny knew that Johns latest relapse was Ryans doing.
Jenny glared angrily as Ryan passed John a sheet of paper by the lockers that day likely test answers. In exchange, John passed Ryan a couple of bills. They began to talk about Johns winning goal during last weeks game, when Jenny rudely interrupted the conversation, shoving herself between them. This caused Ryan to drop his books.
Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! Is your stuff all right?
Ryan smiled and nodded, non-confrontational as always. If anything, he seemed amused by Jennys clear hostility.
Ryan, I'm actually glad I bumped into you. I wanted to invite you to a cram-session with the cheerleading squad tonight."
Uh Ryan was hesitant. He was surprised by the invitation. He was not on good terms with the cheerleading squad, especially not Jenny, who was the present captain.
Pleease, Ryan. You know how bad that physics test is going to be. We need you, Jenny whined. She catered to his ego. She knew it would work.
"Well sure, Ryan said cautiously. Then he grinned. Yeah, why not?
"Great!" Jenny echoed, but with too much enthusiasm not to be suspicious.
Behind Jenny, John wore a wry smile. He knew his girlfriend was up to no good, but found it best not to get too involved with these matters. Cheerleaders were crazy, after all. Have fun, he said sarcastically while giving Ryan an odd look.
My house. Seven, Jenny said to Ryan. With that, she turned on her 3-inch heel, grabbed Johns arm, and proceeded to drag him off to class with her. She already
had dozens of ideas circulating in his mind. The study session would be the perfect opportunity for payback.
-
That night, Jenny forced a smile as she answered her door and beckoned the wary Ryan into her familys large house. Flanked by her skimpily dressed, giggling friends, Jenny beckoned Ryan into the kitchen.
The nerdy male couldnt help the goofy smile that crossed his face. Nice place.
Yeah, my dads rich, said Jenny nonchalantly as they walked to the table. "I made these from scratch." She presented Ryan with a half-full tray of cookies, though between her and her friends, the extra cookies hadn't been eaten, just discarded. No one else had touched them. "You have to try them."
Ryan politely accepted the offer, bringing a cookie to his mouth and taking a nibble. Truth be told, it tasted like the packaged stuff. "Oh my god its delicious!"
"Go ahead, have some more," Jenny urged, stuffing several more cookies into Ryan's hands. "C'mon everyone, let's head to
my bedroom
."
Ryans goofy smile only grew as he followed the girls down the corridor. Jenny's bedroom was huge, with a flat-screen television, a fluffy white rug, and a massive pink heart-shaped bed. Like the rest of his house, it screamed privilege. The girls lounged about and chattered as they filed their nails, compared breast sizes, and applied exorbitant amounts of lipstick. It didnt look like anyone was getting any studying done, but Ryan wasnt about to complain. Finishing his cookies, Ryan sunk into a beanbag. He had come prepared for some girlish hazing, but was suddenly quite weary.
"I feel funny," Ryan mentioned airily.
The girls took little notice of him, Jenny busy showing off her tutu-draped chihuahua. In a matter of seconds, Ryan fell asleep.
"Perfect," said Jenny, her eyes snapping to Ryan. The puppy was unceremoniously discarded in the laundry hamper. The sleeping pills had worked. "That pig," she hissed, as she and her friends gathered around the young man.
"What should we do?" questioned one of Jennys friends. Ryan had sold drugs to many of their boyfriends put a few of them in the hospital too!
"Let's draw on his nerdy little face in permanent marker."
"Or take off his clothes off and roll his onto the school lawn!"
Jenny shook her head. Not good enough. She pulled a jar out from her shoulder bag, causing everyone to gasp.
Her brother was a biologist, and Jenny had found just about the grossest thing she had ever seen at his apartment. An unconventional experiment he had worked up on his own, the freak. He would be peeved that she had stolen it, but Jenny didn't care.
Clutched in Jenny's grasp was a large jar full of mutant cow sperm. They looked like little transparent slugs, squirming lethargically, and packed tightly in the jar.
The other cheerleaders ogled Jennys plunder, some covering their mouths and looking sick. "I got this from my brother's house," Jenny mentioned. "We're going to put it inside of him." She pulled out a turkey baster, and someone finally hurled.
An hour later, Jenny hovered over the unconscious Ryan. She was clad in rubber gloves, a dust mask, and goggles for good measure. Ryan had been positioned on all fours with his butt in the air, his shorts and boxers pulled down to his knees. Jenny lowered the emptied jar, now looking a little sick, herself. Her friends peeked out from behind her.
It had mostly been a practical joke a conceptual thing an excuse to call Ryan an ass for the rest of the school year.
...but none of the sperm creatures had come out of him. In fact, it seemed like they had instinctive gone in.
And so, finally losing to her own nausea, Jenny tore off her gloves, ripped off her mask, and ran off to the bathroom.
-
"That was sick," one of Jennys friends mentioned the next morning, her face a mix of amazement and disgust. "I hope you never get that angry at me."
"You should," said Jenny, still rather queasy.
They bumped into Ryan and froze in guilt.
The young man was holding some books and looking aloof. "Jenny I wanted to speak to you."
Jenny remained motionless. Her friend ducked her head and hurried off.
"I wanted to apologize for passing out at your house," Ryan continued. "I don't know what got into me. Midterms, I guess."
Jenny took in a deep breath. "Dont worry about. Everyone was a tired. We pretty much nodded off right after you did."
Ryan smiled and walked off to class.
