when I import the strareg version an go to play the game, I get an error window that says "operation failed. Second path fragment must not be a drive or a UNC name. Parameter name: path2"

You need to use that internal browser to go to the patreon post with the link to the strateg version. Click on that link. We will be improving the system soon.

I am trying to get into the installation folder but it wont let me break it down from an application to just normal folders so I can find the nessacary ones to delete sorry to keep bothering you.

Either run the game the old fashioned way or go inside the installation folder and delete the config global.ini and user_config.ini files

I got this as well on the 1.0.16.1 version I have no idea what when wrong Im not that tech savy and tried to follow the directions you posted but something happened probably on my end is there any fix you can think of? cus it wont even let me get into the game =(

Oh are you using the launcher? I haven't edited the instructions for the launcher yet. There's a big button that says "import unlock file" inside the launcher.

Whenever I try to unlock Strateg, it will instantly basically "lock" my game. No matter what I do (litterally everything I do) results in an error. I couldn't even go back and fix anything without deleting the entire game from the system. Because if I try and access the menu to choose another character, it also says Error EDIT: realised I had done wrong and did as you said. however I cna't "run" the file. Whenever I click on it, my PC asks what program I want to use it with... which isn't how it is supposed to work, right?

It sounds like you aren't great at reading instructions or documentation. Read the post where you got the debug unlock file more fully.

I can't use Debug even though I have used both the 200226 Debug Unlock.gblorb and the Donators Unlock.gblorb. What gives. Don't you get Debug with the $20 donation?

Won't unlock my Strateg Version, something about my game being to old and the unlock file being too new or whatnot :-( It says: ERROR: Donators unlock file detected, but passkey not recognised. This probably means that this version of Trap Quest is too outdated to recognise your shiny new unlock file. Double check that you're definitely playing on the newest version of the game, and that the unlock file's documentation declared that you should be able to use it with this version.

This should be fixed in the next version of the launcher! Just run the game the old fashioned way for now.

I have loved this game for sometime but just finally joined the $20/month group earlier this week. Mostly was curious about the epilogues. I ran the unlocker, seemed to work but then I started and played 2 or 3 new games and each still says "Sorry epilogue stories are currently a $20 Patreon reward". Sense I ran the unlocker it seems I'm making it longer in the game and even fainting less. I even ran a new nightmare game and released the menotaur quickly (and was taken by it 2 or 3 times). I don't mind living longer that is nice but was trying to see if the epilogues were working so was a little frustrating but definitely a frustration can deal with, just wish would have actually gotten the epilogue at the end. I'm running the game in Windows 7 with Windows Gluxe 0.5.2 (Windows Glk 1.45). When i signed up it did say something about April 1st, am I not getting rewards until then!?

You just run the unlock file once ever. Doesn't matter if you leave it open or close it, it's done its job.

so you open the unlock file then you sepretly open the new game, it should work if they are in the same folder on your computer. you just run them at the same time

You have to run the unlock file as if it was the main game, in order for it to generatethe necessary key. Assuming you've done this, please try again with an earlier version of TQ (e.g. Look at a Patreon post from June or something) and see if that works. If it doesn't, it's definitely something unique at your end.

I’m not getting the unlock file to work. Using Windows 10, I’ve tried three different clients: Windows Glulxe 0.5.2, wingit-134 and Gargoyle Build 2011.1. I have the unlock file in the same folder at the version I'm playing which is Trap Quest 160811D.gblorb, and I start a new game. I looked for Keriax options and I tried undo, nothing worked. I also tried the command 'update donators file' and every time got the statement 'No donators file could be found'

uhmm, The unlocker doesn't really work for me, Using windows 7, wingit-134 with trapquest 3.5

The unlocker isn't working for me Windows Git 1.3.4 (Glk 0.7.4, Windows release 1.45). (Not a huge deal, I save all the time but thought you should know.)
