I live in DC, Trump has been threatening home rule since day 1. Mayor Bowser is cowering to him which is disgraceful. I totally believe the story about asshole teens causing trouble and trying to carjack someone. But does anyone want the national guard policing the city and “beautifying” it (ie destroy homeless encampments and throw them all in jail)? NO. HE IS NOT DC
