🕑 Added 2025-08-05 13:46:34 +0000 UTC
Hi, today Cody, Katy, and Jonathan discuss how Trump fired the Chief of the Bureau of Labor Statistics for publishing accurate numbers, and the implications that will have on us. They also discuss the loss of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the victory lap some Republicans are taking, even though this will hurt their constituency. They also get into the latest with Trump and Epstein and how everyone in Trump's orbit constantly reframes the narrative to make Trump look better.

Agree with this so much. It's easy to get depressed and hopeless with everything going on and then Cody and Jonathan hit us with that and my mood was radically changed

The 'Sebulba' at the end followed by an absolutely insane few moments of chaos made my afternoon at work. We very, very much appreciate all of the hard work and covering of the horrifying news, but these silly moments where you're all laughing about something very silly is very human and ties the whole show together.

The media and I have very different ideas of what a meltdown looks like. I want to see one of his wall-ketchup tantrums caught on camera.
