I went to high school in a suburb outside of Seattle, and our graduation was at Climate Pledge arena (back then it was Key Arena). It isn’t that crazy for a large school with a class of 500+ students to book an arena for their graduation.

Super fun efficient stuff includes the secretary of commerce declaring he has to review every contract or grant over $100k — personally shutting down offices, withholding broadband grants approved in 2024, and endangering cybersecurity by not awarding IT contracts. This will mean budgets aren’t spent, money is sent back to Congress, makes every one look like we didn’t need the funding. Then OMB will come in and RIF everyone because “clearly” the offices are over funded and have too many employees. Then more RIFs are slated for October. Doge was the first mover.
