As a Gen Xer it is destroying me to see what is happening to us, and you've nailed it. We were the generation of apathy, cynicism, and sarcasm. The South Park generation. And that led directly to this right-wing turn. FWIW, those of us on the younger end ("Millennial Opening Act" I've seen us called) realized fifteen years ago how much bullshit that was and that the way forward is empathy, caring, and sincerity. (Also, we were the generation of a series of riots starting with the WTO and ending maybe with the FTAA or later so we always did have that streak. We were helpful elders during Occupy.) So uh not All Gen Xers? But fuck you are right about us... Also Bernie would have won.

This is great. The timing though! It would be worth adding a little bit at the end for the wide release about today’s headline “Joe Rogan Sounds the Alarm On Trump Possibly Deporting Innocent People to El Salvador Prisons.” He was talking to the triggernomics bozos and even they were one step ahead of him. In all likelihood, they will either cite some made-up nonsense or some minor irrelevant point, or they will reveal themselves to be horrifyingly bigoted.
