A Special Journey.
🕑 Added 2021-09-24 15:26:50 +0000 UTCAs I prepare to embark on a very special journey in a few weeks (it is a secret but the details will be revealed in a month or two), I am focusing on my mental and physical health more than ever before. I have cancelled my art shows due to my upcoming nature exhibition (the secret) and tumultuous current global state of affairs. Now more than ever before, the support that I have here is literally allowing me to live, exist, eat and breath within the structure of this modern paradigm we call society. Thank you all so much for your continued support. It means so much to me.
As this special event comes closer for me, and I prepare my body and mind, I realize that every moment of life is a special journey. In my training recently, I was reminded of and taught about the 'language ladder.' The language that we use creates our reality. Words, emotions, intentions literally create our mindscape / mind space and lead to very real, tangible, physical outcomes. The native people speak in the present tense, emphasizing the journey rather than the destination. The words that we use and choose do the opposite, the english language and practices are designed and executed with a goal in mind, oftentimes overlooking the process of achieving a goal. Since I have been taking better care of my body recently, I am reminded of the importance and overall good feeling that comes with this. Instead of looking to the future, I am embracing every moment of the journey. The journey is not coming, it is now.
Here are a few of my favorite recent photos from life / trips... I have been uploading some of the videos from this trip to my vimeo on demand page -- https://vimeo.com/elsamariekeefe/vod_pages (first few images here are stills from the videos)... love you all.
