Meet Rahhar! v.1
🕑 Added 2019-09-28 22:52:05 +0000 UTCIt feels so good to be able to make characters once again <3
I had an idea for Rahhar aka Rahr aka Rah for over a week and finally I put it all together~
First, deciphered:
- trader, outcast;
- kind and enthusiastic;
- memory defect due to injuries;
- theoretical military past (doesn't remembers);
- doesn't mind being addressed as they or him;
- loves clothes and trinkets (what(which?) is hilarious for Arrach-Ray);
- inspired by other's cultures, in particular by gastars'
And while I was thinking about how he would talk to potential customers, I realized that it's dead silent both on Ksedases' and Arrach-Ray's spaceships.
Now, let me explain: both races communicate via telepathy, yet Arrach-Ray's type is a unique one, for it transmits as if it was an actual sound (but in the minds of recipients) because of the electromagnetic waves that it uses in the process of it. Imagine room 20x20 meters, Rahhar stands at the center and talks about something to another Arrach-Ray standing in front of him, and anyone who would enter the room will actually hear their conversation in their minds (anyone whose body has water and/or electrified liquid instead of it). As cells of living organisms (and not) are capable to conduct electricity, they are also capable of converting electromagnetic impulses that those fields produce into readable signals afterwards, i.e thoughts. And so as you move closer to the source, signals would be much more clear and will fade into nothing if you'll move far enough from it, just as if it was an actual sound, yet received not via usual hearing, but with a whole organism.
Back to Rah:
Story will take place in the actual (finally!) time of the Age of the Down itself, that means that Noera already awoken Grirdasses, thus unleashed the Hell (poetically speaking) upon the galaxy (Arnainskiy Cross), and most of the Unions are broken, at war or reunited into another hypostasis of a local hell (good example: union between Ksedases and Arrach-Ray into Raasmadiyskiy Fleet of Capture and Colonization, and before they were just a part of Logras, a neutral union within the galaxy). Fortunately, there are only a small part of Grirdasses' spaceships that been instantly awoken by a chain reaction, and less fortunate news, the reaction is still awakes other scattered spaceships throughout the galaxy that wreak havoc as good as the first squadron, so the damages are local, yet pretty destructive. That means that some parts of the galaxy are still untouched or are in an after war state (excluding hotspots), and that's where Rah comes in, a scavenger.
Rah has a small spaceship (well, at least its half, as you know their spaceships are made out of two merged separate spaceships, that can unmerge and connect to another similar (and not) halves) that he customized with some paints and junk parts that he obviously liked and found while traveling through the calm parts of the galaxy.
Curious fact, that no one knows who he was and is. His serial number is gone, as well as the memories by which it was possible, and now not, to recover it.
Only because of the Arrach-Ray's laws he was not dismantled, for killing a Cradle's creation is forbidden, and that's how he became known as an outcast, for he can no longer be in a Fleet or have any official job/mission in it, for everyone of them are made for a certain purpose, and if it's lost, no one will dare to bring disorder to the perfect (in its own way) system.
Hope you enjoyed this intro and I've been able to set the scene for the beginning of our brand new journey! <3
