Sitan: concept art
🕑 Added 2018-01-30 21:15:54 +0000 UTC For me open-land environment is something divine and remote from what I used to, but still I want to push myself into it.Sitan is the fourth planet of binary star system Assa, which is situated in Digela's Arm of Arnainskiy Cross galaxy.
Binary star's names: Asnatar (bigger one) and Savaradan (twice smaller).
System has seven planets in total (from first to last from stars): Oga, Di, Granderon, Sitan, Tladas (moon: Noma), Veylus (with three small moons) and Gas Giant (with one moon of size of planet Di).
In the past, during intense explodes on Asnatar and Savaradan, the first four planets of the Assa system were scorched almost to the ashes, but by lucky circumstances Sitan hided behind itself fifth planet - Tladas - so it, and the rest two planets, survived the tough times in the life of the system.
Also those domed cities is legacy of the Ancients, who have given their technology to sivalaary in the past (but not so far "past", they arrived in few decades after sivalaary's own technologies reached the space era).
Sitan positions itself as metal planet, so the main resource for sivalaary becomes Antaritan - unique metal, which could be found (within the known Universe) only on Sitan.
Although the planet's surface looks dead, it still keeps life within ravines and tectonic ruptures. There is still you may find water from grand ocean, which existed before the scorch.
And where is water - there is life.
Here is some sketches of Sitan from 2015:
From 2014:
Also here is concepts from 2014:
Top right sketch: spaceship of SA-type (sivalaary's tech + Ancients' tech)
Bottom right sketch: assault rifle of SS-type (only sivalaary's tech)
Ideas for domed cities (stations):
And ideas for flora and fauna:
Some thumbs from 2013(?), including sketches with "space train" of SA-type (sivalaary's tech + Ancients' tech):
And some plants from 2017:
