Palace of Smokeless Fire Update: Sophia’s Stuffed Belly
🕑 Added 2024-10-14 15:39:14 +0000 UTCMy current Sophia game, Palace of Smokeless Fire, is going very well. I’m pleased to say that I have all the basic gameplay working, like running around exploring the game world, dodging traps, and shooting the monsters that would hinder Sophia all feel great. It’s looking like I’ll have a playable demo ready hopefully by the end of the year.
A unique mechanic to the game is the food system. A group of friendly elves have left delicious meals scattered throughout the dungeon for Sophia to feast upon, causing Sophia to recover health and improve her stats. Eating a bunch at once will cause Sophia to get a full belly and start gaining weight, which triggers cutscenes in the game.
