I love this time of year... I don't even know why entirely... I just enjoy the buzz in the air and the songs and decorations. While my husband and I don't exchange gifts, we do get a live tree each year and there's nothing quite like the waft of pine through the house! We struggle with letting go though and often still have them mid-January; holding on until they literally fall to pieces. (But... enough of that, this one is fresh and amazing and is going to live forever!!)
I hope you'll enjoy these images from a lovely stroll in the park with Stellina Stampouli, on my most recent trip to Texas! :) After so many inspiring remote sessions with Stellina over the past year and a bit, it was so wonderful to reconnect in person. I love this bobbly tree we found! Nature's decorations are the best.
I know that this can be a stressful time of year for some but I hope that you'll all be able to unwind a little over the next week and reward yourself for the hard work you've put in these past 12 months. I know that calendar dates don't really mean anything but, even still, I always feel reflective as each year nears it's close, and optimistic about what's on the horizon. I so much appreciate each and every one of you! And I look forward to sharing my adventures with you in 2022. :)
