Suddenly, a scream shatters the apparent tranquility, and as you round the corner, you see a wagon under attack by a pack of wolves. Roll for initiative!

MAP DESCRIPTION:
Traveler Path is a broad and well-kept trail connecting the kingdom’s flourishing regions.
The terrain is easy to traverse, and the roads are even fenced where necessary to prevent accidents with wagons.
A clean water source serves travelers and animals, making the area a perfect spot to camp overnight, as someone has done on the small hill at the end of the road.
The remains of a broken wagon and a shattered crate remind merchants and inexperienced travelers to hire a bodyguard if they intend to travel at night or with valuable cargo, because even on such tranquil roads, accidents can happen.
NOTES
Traveler Path is a classic and versatile encounter map, perfect for staging an impromptu and casual combat in an interesting gameplay area.
The sign at the beginning of the road might offer valuable directions to travelers.
The tents could host potential allies, clients, or dangerous enemies who will have an excellent view of those on the path below.
The broken wagon is a great excuse to have beasts or malefactors attack some traveler, giving your players a chance to save the attacked or just gain some extra loot.
Traveler Path is perfect to be played alongside maps like Adventurer’s Campsite, Abandoned Pass, City Gates, or Farmer Village to build an entire journey between countryside and city.

A versatile and interesting encounter map, easily insertable into many of your travels and particularly suitable for spicing up the classic encounters that occur at the early levels of many campaigns.
