I'm a tad confused how the additional animals will increase security that would effectively stop Voldemort unless they bond with someone at the ranch and are as protective as the griffins.

A potential Harry/Gabrielle huh? I don't mind that honestly, both young still and sorta new to school and that whole world and sort of outsiders in a way, also discovering magic and powers and all. Be good for them to bond and all. Plus I like the idea of the older siblings teasing them over it all. Can't say as I have seen a lot of Littlelowerpot fics, least not long or good ones so, if this is gonna be one then great! This is honestly why I always liked fanfiction better then canon of this series because of the limitless possibilities like this for different paths, pairings, stories, etc.

A good chapter! I like the concept of the ranch's defence being a menagerie of magical creatures. It'll be an interesting setting should you use it for a battle. Your concept of family magic was confusing, cause you had Charlus able to use Black family magic and he doesn't share any of their blood. Anyway, thanks for your work!
