Just 1 thing. If I remember correctly Harry mentioned to Amelia he is the new DADA professor in the last chapter but now she seemingly forgotten it when and Harry had to tell her again. Just something to check.

I like how you've made Tom look similar to when he applied for the DADA job. I reckon, like when Harry Peverell faced him, this version will be a harder opponent to the one in Jameson's own time, which makes it all that exciting. It's also nice to see that Harry himself has grown up as a person and feels little need to enter shouting matches with people. Really shows where he's at personally. Lastly, I think this is the first time, or at least one of few times, where the in efficiency of scent masking charms has been called out, haha. Anyway, thank you for the chapter Mr McCusker and I look forward to the next one.

We got the introduction to Voldemort, Harry and Amelia traveling through the forest, and Dumbledore outside of the forest thinking lol. Great chapter.
