Also might I add that having been fan of Lethal Weapon films (Mel Gibson and Danny Glover ones not the Tv series), this story reminds me of that in a way with Amelia being like Murtaugh and Harry being Riggs.

Yay! Harry as an International Hit-Wizard is back. The chapter was written really well and felt fresh. It almost felt like one of those Cop Shows where one partner is a consultant and the other is the officer. Anyway, thank you for the chapter Mr McCusker and I look forward to the next one.

Pure Blood pricks like Yaxleys, Malfoys and the like deserve to get a boot up the arse. Reminds them that they ain't untouchable and that Pure Blood can flow as freely as blood from anyone else.

This was an excellent foundational chapter. Harry can’t help but pull Amelia’s [metaphorical] pigtails. Harry also can’t help correct an injustice, so he’s in the game whether he wants to admit it or not. He’s kind of like Rick in Casablanca, a jaded hero who refuses to admit he’s a hero as he runs a restaurant/bar in the seedy part of town.

This is fun! I'm loving the crime drama, serial killer-y vibes to this and the good cop annoying cop pairing seems like it'll be fun to play with. It's also reminding me of slice of life isekai stuff where the most powerful man in the world just wants to run his little shop but has to go and fight all the big bads anyway
