I still think the whole Daphne thing is low-key dead, but besides that I enjoyed reading the chapter, especially the glimpse into James's life. I also liked the good that Sirius has done so far. I think there's defo a potential for a James Potter/Sirius Black AU story post 5yr. Anyway, thank you for the chapter Mr McCusker and I look forward to the next one.

Good chapter. I too liked the idea of a security measure, but I had a question about how it actually works. I’m assuming that Scrimgeour was obliviated of anything Voldemort related, or any other information that could compromise the DMLE if exposed. But wouldn’t that be an incredible amount of information for Scrimgeour to re-learn every day? Like, are the first three hours of his every morning dedicated to catching up? Maybe you can have it stated that he’s removing memories at the ministry, and then re-absorbing them every morning. That would make more sense than constant obliviation. I know this is a small detail, so no worries if you don’t care to address, I just thought I’d add my two cents.
