I’m glad you moderated Roberts attitude towards Jon, it felt much more in line with canon. I’m curious about the Iron Born raiders coming to the north so early in the story, especially with one of them carrying such an identifiable sword like Red Rain. I hope you don’t have Jon dual wielding. That bit of show-only for Arthur Dayne was so pointless to me, and actively removed some cool lore. Jon doesn’t need Red Rain in addition to Longclaw (Which he should totally rename WhiteClaw, for the lulz). Selling to Lannister to build bridges or making some other use of it would be better. Or, returning it to House Drumm as Ice should have been to House Stark.

Love this, was pretty excited to see you dipping your toe in the GoT fandom and so far this is great. I actually got into GoT because of X-overs, and eventually started reading pure GoT, and this is some of the best I've read so far.
