Honestly I wouldn’t mind a Harry/Katie this time around, you literally never find a good story with that pairing around these days.

Mixed feelings so far.. intrigued by the Death/Hallows plot line certainly, but so far too much has been recycled from reading canon for my liking, just always feels redundant etc.. Letters and chasing seemed a little out there, but nonetheless still interested where you’ll take those characters

This was a pretty well written chapter. I enjoy the pace you’ve set, following the original timeline but introducing your own plot at a steady pace. I’m intrigued, and I can’t wait to see where this story leads.

Have to agree. You have never used Ron or Hermione as even a side character, and a Year 1 story seems like it needs them. Even just one of the two would be interesting and a nice change of pace

Some Ron and Hermione love would be great this story. Solid friendships that last through Harry’s changes with them aren’t something I remember seeing in your stories before. Harry/Katie is underused, hope to see it this time

I really like this and I like the subtle depth you've added to the chasers (please can you add some substance to Ron & Hermione, i.e. a proper golden trio). Also, Harry's small progress was done well. Anyway, thank you for the chapter Mr McCusker and I look forward to the next one. p.s., please can you slow down Yrs 1-3? Possibly have them b/w 4-7 parts, cause it'll be nice to see the progress and the interaction changes b/w OG characters and different canon moments.

I was hopping for an eventually Bones pairing but I'm thinking Luna is a more appropriate pairing with all the mysticism that we're about to experience! As I see it Harry is a child in this story and would be also a child in the next year, so I'd love to see Harry and Lune evolve together!

You won’t see hermione from Baron, he’s gone on record to say it’s one of his least favourite pairings, however Luna WOULD be an interesting one this time around with the context of the story.
