Written in the Stars - Alternate Ending
🕑 Added 2023-03-12 21:30:46 +0000 UTCFor those of you that are interested, this is the alternate ending scene for WITS which I'm sure many of you will prefer.
I chose the other because it tied in more with the other parts of the story below.
- Harry knew that he was still far behind Voldemort when they fought in Hogsmeade.
- He was raised by Cassiopeia, and knowing that facing Voldemort in a straight fight, it was possible that he would lose, so he would likely seize any other advantage he could.
- I did not want for the Hallows to be something he relied upon entirely for victory as they will be explored much more in TRL.
However, I understand the other ending was somewhat lacklustre in comparison to what we got in WTRBA, so I decided to release the alternative, something I have never done before despite having them for every story I have written thus far.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Nah, the ending you used was better and fit more closely with the story.

Both were good, but unsurprisingly you're correct to use the OG ending. It was more in line with the character and was a move worthy of Salazar Slytherin. I just can't wait to go back to Hogwarts now, cause it's been time since we've had a story from yr 1. Also, I always enjoy your dialogue when there's more canon characters. Anyway, thank you for both chapters Mr McCusker and I look forward to the next one.
