Lettered Wolf

Awesome chapter, always amusing seeing the poisoner impulses in this healer. "...even no morning sickness." In fairness to Meihua it's not common close to delivery so she has every reason to be surprised by the question since this is her first so she obviously doesn't have a history of it in previous pregnancies after first trimester. It definitely can happy all the way until delivery but this is an atypical presentation and Meiling being surprised at the lack of an atypical symptom felt off to me. Now I could be misunderstanding and she is referring to having no morning at all especially in the first trimester where it is common but that isn't how it read to me.

Demian Buckle

Thank you for the Chapter.

Or wondering what ailment she'll be faced with fixing for the Magistrate's wife!

Michael Maor

“So… mind telling me why you have an invitation from the Lord Magistrate’s wife for a meal together?” she asked blandly. LOL! I'm not sure what would be more amusing, Meiling being casual about the fact she's a cultivator, or her not realizing that and thinking she got invited as a healer possibly freaking out over getting an invite to dine with the Magistrate.

Michael Maor

Cholera, dysentery, some sort of toxin (especially considering it's in the tanner district) no shortage of potential issues.

Robert Mullins

Pretty certain Meiling is the snake. Poison and medicine, unique sense of smell, etc. I'm betting it's Xiulan who will be the rabbit.

Sg

yeah i love how it comes about naturally and how it shows Meiling character off soo well.

Asalaïs

Because if the rabbitgirl outfit, i thought it would be so funny if Meiling became the hare in the zodiac thingy going on in the farm. You know Washy being the dragon, Bi De the phoenix/chicken so on. If we count Gou Ren as monkey and Meiling as hare we would only miss 4 ( snake, horse, goat and dog ) Overthinking plot as always

A disgruntled nondescript squirrel

and the magistrates woes continue

Termac

More like he prides himself on his unwavering composure, much like Lu Ri does. The Magistrate is pretty vain and concerned about his image, so it makes sense that he'd try very hard to avoid *ever* being seen as agitated or unsure.

Termac

Here's hoping the Magistrate actually understands that. Not that it would really be a problem for MC and friends if he doesn't. The magistrate does seem smart enough to understand that Meiling nipped a massive disaster in the bud, though.

Ronin_Ryker

Thanks for the chapter! Good to see Meiling get some action, healing people and being awesome in general.

Jeff Petkau

Thanks for the chapter! Just hits those good notes that this series does so well.

Osamaru Ta

Poor Magistrate... XD he's just totally resigned to it now.

Morog T Tiny

nice chapter

Imspinnennetz

This is QA or Qi Anonymous. I am a magistrate of Azure hills and I am addicted to Qi Maple syrup.

Jacob

It may have kicked you ass but you kicked right back, really enjoyed this one

As his town gets healthier, the magistrate becomes less

Drakenclaw

“I see.” he declared, as if it was the most natural thing in the world. His face was a mask of calm. And as soon as the guard was gone, the magistrate opened a secret compartment in his desk and pulled out a small flask of special syrup to calm his stomach down.

Jonathan Seah

Wait, was that a forming cholera outbreak? At least she deserves that Medical Fairy title now, catching and curing plague before it happens (as well as deducing the cause all on her own) is one of those Miracles cultivators are *supposed* to be known for.

Stephen Pearson

Great chapter, thanks:-)

HumbleBee

Haha, loved how you described the magistrate’s reaction. The poor man.

Dale

Meiling Just saved the town .

reji

Poor Magistrate. His problems dublicated

Imspinnennetz

Looks like there is going to be another folk tale in the poor district about the Great Medical Fairy Sister and her husband, the humble road worker.

Imspinnennetz

I do not think the magistrate has heartburn anymore after he got the spices from Jin. His headache comes from the fact that Jin's activities are making his control of the situation more complicated. (Mostly due to misunderstandings)

Robert Mullins

Meiling, you should probably work on the magistrate. I think he could use some help with that heartburn and headache.

Eric Hicks

Thanks for the chapter. Meiling's perspective is always enjoyable to see.

Vervacitus

Swell job Meiling, you got their attention
