So I just started a re-read from the beginning, and I have a question- what ever happened with the mystery root from chapter 1? It was repotted in ch 2, and researched in 5 and 6, but if it was ever mentioned after that I missed it.

Volume One is going to be an instant buy. Just point us in the direction. Definitely one of my favorite series right now. Relaxed enough that it doesn't trigger my anxiety but tense/real enough that it isn't just a wish fulfilment "I wave my hand and infinite good things happened and everything is smiles (and would you look at the size of my harem)" type of story.

Dude, three posts a week (especially at the quality you consistently keep reaching) is an absolute wonder, all on its own. It's a little disappointing to miss out on an update like this, but nobody can say that you haven't earned it twice over.
