Poll regarding REWARDS

Something has been on my mind, and I thought I'd air it out to see you guys' opinions.
Are reward packs important to you?
Packs meaning the folder of downloadable files that I send in your DMs every month.
I'm not a huge artist with thousands of patrons so it might sound dumb, but I'm struggling to keep track of all the rewards......
To explain it simply: I filter you guys by tiers, however, as most people don't stay a patron/the same tier for an indefinite amount of time: many people get lost in the system and I have to manually find the missing members.
As of November, the Patreon billing system will also change, and I don't know how it'll affect everything.
As an alternative to packs in DMs, I'll enable individual download for each post.
I'll attach a download link to the post with the usual rewards that will be available on Patreon/in emails up to 2-3 weeks (disregarding changing months). Quite a few other creators use the same system, and this ensures that you can download whatever you want immediately after I post it.
TL;DR do you need rewards in DMs or can you just download the rewards you want upon upload, cause my head and finger and patience hurts every month :D

Also, re: Previous rewards
At some point this year, the Patreon Shop will finally be available for 18+ creators (YAYY) and I'll sit down and make all the packs since the Gumroad takedown in March. Bear with me, since this depends on when Patreon the shop is available AND when I've made 9+ months worth of packs..!

I like the current system but if if causes problems for you, i have no issue with you changing it to something that works better

I’d love to have more time to download the rewards. So if Patreon can just keep track of the months I am entitled to download, that would be great.

Personally I enjoy getting everything at the end of the month but I prefer what makes it easier on streamers. Does this mean no more surprise art in the pack?!

oh yeah, that's true. if you did it like that you would need to create the post at the latest the last day of the month 🤔 I guess if you don't wanna do the "post link for previous month" thingy then I don't see another way than to do it manually for each post... Unless Patreon adds some kind of feature to create posts that patreons pledging in certain months can also see even if they don't pledge anymore 🤔

Aahh yeah, but that would make it impossible for people who pledged only in Dec to access the link in Jan! Some creators do a dl-link for the previous month, which is also an option, but that essentially gives people access to two packs a month 🤔

I've always wondered why you were going through all the effort of sending out the packs manually tbh ^^' But why not just make one post where you post the download link for the respective tiers at the end of the month? I mean the link deactivates itself anyway and that takes less effort than creating the downloads for every post. The only "problem" with that is that people who pledge at the beginning of the month can get the reward of the previous month as well so that's something to think about 🤔 But I don't mind downloading every post/folder manually either 🤷 Also thank you for going through all this trouble and creating all these awesome pieces 🥰

I'm cool with switching to Manual, sounds like it's way too much work for the DMs (I will miss the random comments lol). Hopefully the patreon shop could make all this easier. With something like a make your own reward bundles workflow.

I'd suggest providing download link either through community tab here or through discord to have at least one more barrier if it will be final decision. Otherwise putting them directly in the post caption is a lot riskier hence you can see most of post description even without pleding.

that option is a lot easier for you, but it is also very prone to get more paid patreon content leaked/be open to download by everyone unless I am missing something.

I'm not sure if I speak for others, but there may be a few of us here just to give predictable support and not thinking of rewards. At some point I'll create the "Wonni art wall" from the online store. However, I'll probably be moving house this year and need to wait. So... whatever system of rewards is most convenient to implement is fine by me. I'll vote for the individual option since it does sound easier than tracking us.

Saw the notification and thought it was the outfit from the stream and got excited, the second option makes it easier for you and us, you dont have to look for people and we get the reward easily x
