I just wanted to address why the next version is taking longer than I planned.
A few days ago I started putting together "original" art for the game. That is , replacing some of the wall papers I used and so on. What I found is that there are many maps out there for interiors and exteriors -- and that many games are already using the pre-sets.
I thought it would be a good idea for me to make my own maps, and while there aren't many places I need to do, it is pretty time consuming. (Currently, I've completed 3 floors of the tower, and the area just outside of the tower.)
That leaves the town, as well as the Lull Forest Area(s).
Aside from this, I've also been tinkering with various things about the project, squashing bugs and also attempting to add backwards compatibility on saving so that, in the future you won't need to restart your game to play.
So far I'm very happy with the game's development and in some aspects it's almost like a different game than the one you have played previously.
With that in mind, I'd rather not rush too much and take my time with creating some new visuals for the full effect.
Regardless of how long it takes, I plan to release the next version of the game on the 28th at the latest. (So basically, this weekend.) It could be sooner, but I don't want to keep setting phantom dates.

- Release this weekend, 28th at the latest, that is Sunday.
- Creating original environments for the game.
