Oooo fascinating. Has me a bit worried tho. I wonder how far Edward will be willing to go to to recover what they lost!

With Human Transmutation it's known as a Taboo because it seems it cannot be done and the price that ends up being paid. But Edward assumed maybe him and Al could be the ones to finally crack the code. And even after Edward came out of the portal he still believes it can be done "it's just missing something" which is when he asks to see it again. And Truth says "I can't that's all I can show for the toll you've paid." All of the components Edward read off is the make up of an average human body. Even with this backfire Edward is still a firm believer in Alchemy and the sciences. Also Winry (the blonde girl) and her grandmother aren't actually Edward and Al's "family" they just took care of them after their mother passed.
