In my opinion the CGI never looks bad, even the “worst” Mappa CGI is 100x better than the horrific CGI colossal WiT did for season 2 and 3.

I don't consider this a spoiler but.........the AoT "world" is an upside down map of Earth. Marley occupies inverted Africa while Paradis is on Madagascar.

This episode had good cgi that wasnt very jaring but there are later episode were it can be very jarring at time, the cgi is only applied to the titan's . I personally dont mind the cgi but I know alot of people hate it. I dont complain about it since I know the studio was put on a dead line and they only had 8 months to animated the whole season which is not much time at all. plus the staff didnt have very good working conditions. you can criticise the cgi in the future and all but just try keep in mind what I said loved the reaction by the way😂

kids are the same age as Reiner and his group was (about 12) and zeke is 29, now in s4. and as an added extra for perspective, cuz i dont think you know, levi is in his early 30s when u meet him in s1

I agree for the most part, but part 2 very likely will have the same time to finish since the show ended just a few months ago and will likely air Dec 2021 or Jan 2022. While some said production started late October 2020 for part 2 but in reality all the later episodes of the part 1 were merely finished, teams doing other episodes were called for help to finish the episode on time and even had reduced animation because they couldn't finish the episode on time. So I don't think they have much better schedule for part 2

Mappa had a stressful period and short time making part 1 of season 4, hence why the quality might be sometimes weird or much use of 3D. Mappa is awesome cause now part 2 will have had more time to finish everything as Isayama wanted it to.

the characters look different because they've got older not because of the change of the studio, it has been 4 years, in fact, they look more like the manga than ever before.
