Yeah, I love season 4 I think it was amazing, but Adam is right the next like 5-6 episodes now are the best run of the entire show. Just banger after banger. Also Sam what the fuck are you wearing on your legs my guy

I forget sometimes that anime has "reactionary subconscious" moments where character inner dialogue (stretched out) is really just a few seconds of real time events. - Sam

Reiner wasn't moving because only seconds earlier he lost his vision, then he was hit with around 10 spears in the nape. The show stretches that event out to be more dramatic, but it probably happened very quickly. And yeah, Reiner made an epic mistake when he decided to just sit there and absorb the initial attack.
