Although some could do with simply not treating their students as less than human .... also a message of the show.

"Can actual teachers do that in real life please?" I'm not sure, but I think that might actually be a subversive message in this episode. That as a teacher, what you need to do to help your kids excel, requires you to literally be more than human.
