MHA movies are canon. All Might invites Deku to go to the event in Two Heroes and Heroes Rising also confirmed by horikoshi and is set in the winter period of the show.

So glad you have seen what Zenitsu can do!! He's my boy! Also its 26 episodes and the Movie is season 2, which in the manga was so short they decided to just make that arc one movie. So the movie is Canon unlike MHA's movies.

I love the callback when Zenitsu passes out. On the road with Tanjiro last episode, he said he was bound to die, and the thought of having his brains sucked out through his ears was too much of an idea to stand. And here, the demon said the exact thing he was terrified of, and he faints. The 12 Kizuki numbering system is a little weird, From Most to least powerful, I think it goes from Upper-1 to Upper-6, then Lower-1 to Lower-6. So this demon (Lower-6) was the lowest rank of the 12 Kuzuki, and he got kicked out for seemingly lacking the potential to improve.
