Fun fact -- I actually tried wearing shoes like this during my Japan trip, at KOEI Kyoto Studio Park, where I dressed up as a Shinsengumi for an afternoon. The lovely old Japanese guy helping me dress was like, 'Dude, are you sure?' and I gave him a very confident 'Daijoubu desu....' until I took about three steps and almost fell over xD I got some flatter samurai-style sandals to wear instead xD
ANYWAY, Yamato rocks them much, MUCH better, and I want to work more on drawing nice shoes and boots for future projects >=D

Welcome back! What a way to celebrate your trip with Yamato and her Japanese footwear! I'd love to be dominated by her powerful feet <3 (nitpick but I'd like to see the gap between toes for tabi socks :P)
