UPDATE: Introducing the Waifu Waiting List! (Better name pending... xD)

- If a character is suggested three times without winning a poll, they will go onto the Waifu Waiting List to be drawn by me ASAP!

So I had a few different ideas of how to make sure patrons niche favourites get drawn even if they aren't the most popular -- I actually had a much more complicated idea than this involving 'tickets' and virtual prize wheels and suchlike... but I figure that for now, simple is best and so we will be going with the 'three times rule'!
Obviously not every character will be eligible for suggestion in every poll due to the polls being themed, but there will be a generous smattering of 'open' polls throughout the year to give people a chance to suggest their favourites.
I want to strike a nice balance between making it feel achievable to get your niche favourite waifu on the list but without me burying myself under a huge list of stuff to draw xD (I have been over-eager in taking on commissions in the past and it just led to burnout for me and frustration for clients b/c I kept those at the bottom of the list waiting for so long!)
With this system, if you stick around long enough, I will -- at some point -- draw your favourite waifu =)
- (Characters who have already been suggested without winning prior to this system being introduced still count!)
- (I will post a sticky of the waiting list and of all the characters who are 'close' -- i.e., two suggestions out of three)
- (If a character wins a poll, their count will be reset to 0)

Haha I like "Waifu Watchers" xD "Waifu Watchlist"? Although that kinda makes it sound like they're on parole or something... xD Names have never been my strong suite! It shouldn't be too hard to keep track of characters -- I have only run two polls so far so as long as I am disciplined about keeping track as I go along it should be easy =) And I'm sure people will remind me if I forget that their favourite has come up a few times xD Glad you like the idea!

This is a wonderful idea! Gives everyone a chance to get their niche waifu drawn! I think it’s a fair balance, I just hope it doesn’t get too overwhelming keeping track of all the characters. But I guess there’s really no easier way than looking back to each one. Anyway it’s a great idea so some great characters can get their due : ) “Waifu Watchers”
