A Small Progress Update! =D
🕑 Added 2021-07-13 09:23:32 +0000 UTCI hope everyone had a good weekend! =D Just wanted to share some progress with y'all and let you know what's coming up!
- Firstly, thank you for the likes and comments and kind words on the Maki Oze variations! =D I might be adding a couple more later this week when I get back to my tablet =3
- The first monthly poll will be launching on Thursday! =D Thank you to the top-tier patrons who have suggested characters so far; we have some really good choices to pick from and I would be excited to draw any one of them! >=D
- The first flash poll will be following soon after -- I have been inspired to change the theme slightly but I think it's one y'all will like! =D I have delayed this slightly so that it doesn't overlap with the main poll (and the resulting picture of this one will be public rather than Patreon-exclusive so it makes more sense to put it later in the month)
- Also, my next picture, "Kaguya-sama: Love is Foot Worship" is nearly at the colouring stage! =D I am hoping to get time to finish this over the coming weekend ready to start on our poll winners afterwards =3 (See the teaser above!)
I want to find a nice balance with showing off WIPs (work in progress pictures). I want all of you to feel involved in my process because you are my most generous fans and your support means so much to me! =D However, I follow a lot of other artists on Patreon and sometimes when I see a full picture in the inking stage, it can kinda dull the impact of the finished piece a little bit =/ (Sometimes it's nice to see a picture drop into your feed fully-formed and have that "Wow!" / surprise factor.)
I guess what I'm trying to say is, I really want to show y'all what I'm working on but I don't want to spoil the whole surprise, which is why I have only been showing crops of this Kaguya-sama piece so far.

Hehe I'm glad you think so! =D Sometimes I think WIPs are like those movie trailer that spoil all of the best bits =( I want to find a good balance if I can!

Excellent! =D Yeah, I'm trying to strike that balance because I want you guys along for the ride but I don't want the previews to steal the thunder of dropping a full piece =3 And I'm glad you like the timelapses! =D I thought I was recording one for Maki the whole way through until I got to the end and there was nothing to export T_T There will be a timelapse for the Kaguya-sama piece, though! =D

Looks like another banger. Big fan of the teases leading up to the full reveal. It was always super exciting to see a full piece of yours drop on DA, and I like these kinds of updates so we don't lose that. Also great to see the time-lapses after.

Great idea! Seeing the whole image when it’s finally done makes it feel much more grandiose, compared to when all the WIPS are off the entire thing. Surprises are always great :)
