About my Audios and Reposting
🕑 Added 2021-08-29 23:03:03 +0000 UTCHi everyone! Recently I’ve learned that large numbers of my audios have been re-posted without my permission on SoundCloud, YouTube, Telegram and other sites. In response, I’ve turned off the feature to download files on Patreon for the time being.
I’d like to believe that whoever is re-posting my content is doing it because they enjoy it and want to share with other people, and not for any mean-spirited reasons. Regardless, I have to request that you don't repost my content without permission. Re-posting my content harms me by bypassing the paywall and siphoning viewers away from me.
At the end of the day there’s a reason why some of my content is behind a paywall. I invest a lot of time and passion into my audios that I just wouldn’t be able to justify without revenue. I’d really like to one day be able to go into audio creation full-time and create some high-effort projects, but I can’t commit if my revenue source is unstable.
I understand that not everyone can afford Patreon and won’t be able to access those audios in the traditionally way. Because of that I do my best to frequently post free audios on YouTube and reddit as well as publicize Patreon audios (about 1/3rd are free).
I know the vast majority of you haven’t been reposting my work. I want you to know that I *really* appreciate all your support, comments, feedback and personal messages. You’re all so sweet to me and have really helped me grow as a creator and feel so much less anxious and unsure of myself 🥰 I do my best to reply to every message and I really do enjoy reading them! So don’t be shy if you’d like to reach out to me <3
