This part is totally contrived. "Unbeknownst to them, as they walked away, two more figures shimmered into existence beside the statue: a [Templar], proud and strong, and a [Light Mage], radiating power and wisdom." Even if we assume that it takes longer to load dose with mana, it still appears to be multiple magnitudes longer. So, it is contrived/tampered with. Especially the increase in brightness should stand out.

Her awareness is rather high for a newborn. So unless it's her self from before "death" + memory blocking/loss spell on her. I don't believe it.

This "god" feels like it lied to get what it wanted, no oblivion to speak of. And the cause of her death if she really died, especially with the "I can only touch it through our connection, which was severed at the moment of your death.". In other words, he had his eye on her before her "death".
