It had been over 72 hours since he began facing relentless contractions, the pain so overwhelming it barely allowed him a chance to catch his breath. His knees felt heavy and stiff against the cold floor, one hand gripping the edge of the bed tightly. His other hand rested on his enormous belly, trembling as he gently rubbed it, as if hoping to ease even a fraction of the deep, unyielding pain.
Gojo’s breaths came in short, labored gasps, his entire body shaking as another contraction hit him hard. His belly hung heavily beneath him, nearly touching the floor. The immense weight pulled him downward, adding unbearable pressure on his lower back and pelvis, making every movement a torturous ordeal. Occasionally, he could see his belly ripple, a small movement from within—perhaps an elbow or a foot pressing against the surface, forming a faint outline that reminded him of the life soon to arrive. But he could hardly savor this moment, as the pain overwhelmed him, his mind focused only on each agonizing second.

But his body was weary, and his breath faltered. When he could no longer sustain his push, the baby, nearly emerging, slipped back, as though his body wasn’t ready to release the large child through the narrow, strained path. Gojo’s massive belly remained unbearably tense, every inch of his skin stretched and throbbing with indescribable pain.
Summoning what little strength he had left, Gojo pushed again, determined to bring his baby into the world. But his narrow hips felt like an immovable barrier. He could feel the large baby’s body held back, unable to descend further, even as the contractions grew more intense and powerful. Each push drove the heavy, painful pressure deeper, making him feel as though he were splitting in two, yet he knew he had no other choice.
Sweat poured down his face, dripping from his forehead onto his pale cheeks as he grimaced with pain. Gojo closed his eyes for a moment, struggling to regulate his increasingly ragged breathing. He knew this storm would eventually end, and his long struggle would bring forth new life. Until then, he clung to his last reserves of strength, waiting for the final, climactic push that would deliver him to the beautiful moment he had long awaited.
