You don't need to explain to me. I have had a persistent cough almost nonstop since December. I went to the doctor and got the flu and infection treated. But the rawness of my throat took far longer. And when it went away last Friday, it came back with a vengeance on Saturday along with another cold. The Last few days I was coughing so much I almost threw up. So I understand why you need some time.
