Yeah so with regards to Caster a lot of what he said did happen. Caster is Gilles de Rais who was a compatriot of Joan of Arc. After the war he squandered much of his wealth got interested in the occult and murdered a bunch of children as sacrifices before he was tried and executed. He is considered to be one of the direct influences of the Bluebeard myth.
