From here to Doflamingo is, like, 8 more episodes lmao. They'll live, especially considering they're not watching week-to-week/watch multiple episodes in one sitting so there's even less to complain about. It really is not that big of a deal.

Yeah i love how each arc can give focus to different characters while feeling fresh. And Oda's clearly aware of the possible issues a large cast can have, and so splits the focus instead with decisions that make sense for the story.

Just warning you guys. The pace of this part (path to Doflamingo) is so bad, that for many manga readers, Dressrosa is one of the best arcs. Meanwhile for Anime viewers, one of the worst. I hope you guys understand this is Toei's fault and not Odas.

Much like how Skypiea served to help develop Chopper as a character, Dressrosa does wonders to flesh out Franky more than ever before. Oda definitely pulled the right move in having half the crew + Momo and Caesar split off on their own offscreen adventure. With Sabo's group and all the colosseum warriors involved, there was already more than enough to focus on already.
