Opening 11 was aired at the time of the 10th Anniversary of OP animation, so you have to hear that celebration catch as well EVERYTIME if you don't skip it ;(

Funnily enough, Crunchyroll actually does have all of the openings for Once Piece, but for some reason only on the English Dub episodes. I have no idea why they skip some openings on the Subbed episodes, but retain them on the Dubbed episodes but they do. Also here’s a fun fact about opening 12. The voice actors for all of the Straw Hats are singing the backing vocals during the song, which is a really nice touch.

When you said some of the images remind you of the spreads that Toriyama or Araki used, is exactly what it's taken inspiration from :D Oda does cover page requests from fans alot, so many of these were drawn by Oda for the manga chapter covers. (Like the luffy vs franky boxing one, the merry train etc.)

The "quick super-buisy shots" are all adapted from colorspreads (meaning doublespread chapter covers in color) by Oda. There are close to 200 right now and all of them look amazing.

I'm so annoyed that CR cut OP 8. Not only is it my favorite but it is one of the least spoilery OPs of the show. The most annoying part is the english dub still has it added (yes I am a proud dub enthusiast) so I'm not sure if it's a rights thing or just laziness. Btw the song is Crazy Rainbow by Tackey & Tsubasa
