The Luffy in the barrel part is mostly confusing cause the anime didn't fully adapt chapter 1 of the manga until this point.

Great discussion, I’m one of the few that actually enjoy anime canon especially one piece. I also am of two mind about the old man having Conquers because there only 4 confirmed users at this point in the story. Also I hope boa Hancock has earn her respect because she is among the greats and top tier in the one piece world.

Idk if nobody told you guys this. But Naguri is anime canon only. He does not appear in the manga nor in Oda's vision Still, these are fillers episodes that do fit the narrative

Keep in mind, these 3 episodes (497-499) are "anime canon", though I like this guy that they added, I have no idea why they just casually gave him conquerors haki. So I wouldn't look too much into it, it's not a canon character.
