Here's what I'll say, when you guys get caught up with One Piece...I suggest watching the ONE PIECE THEORIES on YouTube and see how many great ideas are out there...that's one of the best parts of being a One Piece follower, the theories are insane.

I think we can safely assume Oda planned Dragon to be Luffy's father from the very beginning when he said "King of the pirates? Fine by me!" back in Loguetown. I didn't connect that back in the day but in hindsight it makes perfect sense that a father would say that about his son. Keep the discussion going, having the answers to many of your questions and watching you theorize about them is entertaining as hell.
