You guys are exhibiting mad viewer bias with the squard situation..... We only know what we know because we are watching it as a viewer. They are in a war where adrenaline is through the roof for everyone, obviously some people aren't going to be thinking properly but Squard wasn't exactly in the wrong for his conclusion, Whitebeard even said it, Sengokus strategy was just too good.

About what Marco said, its not that he let squard stab him but its about Whitebeard being really old and weak where he couldnt. Young Whitebeard would not have been caught off guard. His age is catching upto him and his health is deteriorating. Still crazy that even after all that the whole Navy fears him. Goat

Oh man, that "Let's go" from Whitebeard at the end, you'd hate to be in the opposing side. Too bad the recording got cut off before Whitebeard bounces off the allegations, for all they know, the pirates backstabbed each other and Whitebeard sold out his allies. Yet another win for the Navy in the eyes of the public.

I believe Marco's thought process there, in case you brushed passed it, was that Whitebeard in his prime would have been able to defend against even a sneak attack by a trusted ally, but that he's fallen from where he was, due to his health issues, that he was able to be struck by such an attack.
