I love how admirals showed themselves so competent in fight, when almost each of their attacks lead to few consequences, such as Akainu's attack not only destroy Jozu's Ice Block, but also was used as area attack; Aokiji not only freezed tsunami, but used that opportunity to immidiately attack WB.

Looks like this episode locked you in. 😋 Yeah this arc is pretty intense. It just continues and ramps up even further from here as you probably know. Marco is probably one of my favorite introductions to a character's Devil fruit and its also the first time you see a mythical zoan type. Akainu's Lava fruit is quite interesting because as linsey says it causes more destruction then just a normal fire fruit and it has an intense heat as magma can reach 1000+ degreee celcius and fire can only reach temps of up to like 400. But as powerful as he seems, Whitebeard literally just blew it out like a birthday candle lol Jozu also putting in the work. This episode had alot going for it.

That sequence of Marco morphing into blue flames before turning into a phoenix has been literally burnt into my mind for like the past decade. One of my favorite devil fruits of all time and the introduction of Mythical Zoan Types. Naotoshi Shida cooked so hard animating it❤️😭
