This is exactly why I thought the mid saga podcast would be (and was) so awesome. I'm so used to thinking about everything in this arc with the knowledge of where all the pieces land. Its so refreshing to hear theories about the future from two creative and perceptive people who don't know all of that stuff yet.

For your information, Dragon's full name is not known public until Garp broke the secret at Water Seven but the higher-ups did know Dragon's full name and his relationship with Garp.

it was made pretty clear in post enies lobby that dragon was known mononymously as "Dragon". Garp saying that his name was "Monkey D. Dragon" was a reveal, so it's pretty likely that his name is a secret.

You might not think of it as spoilers but it definitely is and you're leading them to conclusions by mentioning stuff that could or could not be or stuff you've never heard of before coming from them. Thus validating/invalidating their theories before they get to come up with it themselves.

It's implied that Dragon's full name is not public knowlege, in post ennies lobby, one of the marines says he has never heard it, and also Nami and Sanji knew of Dragon but they are still suprised by his connection to Luffy

man, I wish I could forget everything that's going to happen, just to be on edge about this plot all over again like you 2 are right now xD At this point of the plot I've also started to appreciate Thriller Bark saga more, because to me it represents a time bomb that started ticking without us knowing until 2 arcs ago.
