For me in my opinion it just shows that the Straw Hats are not ready yet for the New World after Oda keep giving them Ls after Ls. It just shows the New World are different level than the Grand Line is.

This is a prime example of not judging the character by its looks and mannerisms alone. You never know what one piece can throw at you. He mixes gags and serous character drama in such a fascinating way that it feels so unpredictacle.

I thought Luffy did win his fight against Moria without using Nightmare Luffy and used Gear Third ‘Bone Balloon’ causing Moria to spill out all the shadows he collected.
