If u guys do go back and do filler I would recommend the Boss Luffy ones. So far the ones you’ve passed are episodes 291, 292, and 303.

There is one filler after the the thriller bark arc concludes and its the perfect tone shift. Its only 3 episodes. That is one that they could watch, its a very relaxing laid back moment before, the tension of the story raises again.

Yeah, regarding the fillers, hmm, it's a tricky one. Some are a little goofy or fun to watch, or have a bit of a "slice of life" feel to them. I don't really remember most of them (I don't really rewatch them and many I never watched in the first place because I couldn't be bothered, so I can't really say if they are any good, but they won't have any impact on the main story). I'm sure a lot of people are excited for the canon stuff, so maybe some might not be too thrilled about a ton of fillers in a row, but I suppose if you slot them in a few at a time between canon stuff, it'll probably not get too many grumpy comments. Also I highly doubt anyone will stop subbing just for that reason. So, really, it's up to you whether and how you want to watch them (and whether you decide to record them, etc.).

I would say you fillers can wait, lets enjoy the canon for now. When you get caught up at least there's some episodes in the backburner

The cameo was based on Minoru Suzuki, a living legend in Japanese Puroresu (Pro Wrestling) 😂, wrestling fans call him "Murder Grandpa" lol His entrance music is "Kaze ni Nare" literally "Become the wind"

I wouldn't have known they used the actual design of Fuji TV station in Tokyo if I didn't see it 3 months ago on my trip, even the bridge across the bay is correct.

Chopper Man story is designed as 4-panel chapter by Oda himself originally in the info book ONE PIECE BLUE, and the anime for some reason keeps the art style close to Oda's style

@100Rainy Wow, you're right. It doesn't make a ton of sense to me to have her in Zoro's skit but according to the wiki it was her. Porche didn't have purple hair either. I just thought that was because of the sunset lighting

For the Filler arc you skipped I haven't watched it in a decade maybe I think it was aight so I don't think people will hold it against you for skipping it. You can still do it tho, as downtime before jumping into later canon in the future who knows. Love the content eitherway

Oda mentioned how he loved Chopper's VA when he watched the anime and wanted to make his design cuter in consequence. Which he did around the end of Alabasta/Beginning of Jaya in the manga. I love that they made it his superpower in Chopperman. I had no idea this episode existed until today. idk how. Lol. From the website i watched it along it also includes the TV release of the episode and at the end there was a promotion for the Drum Island movie. Basically a recap but they changed a few details and characters present in the story, so it's different but cool at the same time.

The girl in Zoro's play was Porche from the Foxy pirates group. I totally thought it was Tashigi all this time since that would make way more sense since Johnny and Yosaku, who are both also related to Zoro, are there as well.
