Yeah, the whole simultaneous thing feeling dragged out compared to the manga is one reason why I hope the remake tackles flow better (the other being that I know they can pull off outstanding animations and overall better handling of character anatomy and volumes/shape consistency).

kaku is a waste of character. So much build up for nothing. tons of other characters for gag. This is one of the few fights I did not like in this arc along with the pasta cook guy in the train

Kaku's a new df user We don't really think about it but when you have a power you don't just learn how to use it Like Luffy when he ate his could still barely fight the mountain bandits Kaku getting his today and trying out things is basically what most went through and it's that fun of finding out what you can do Also Giraffes obviously can use their necks as canon, that is common knowledge 😌
