Damn this episode hits different now on rewatch
Sanji Joestar
Laughable. She's everyone's princess!

I was always under the assumption that Oda wasn't really thinking about the future when he made characters like Arlong and Crocodile eight feet tall and then realized "wait..... any character I draw taller than them is going to have to have an even more ridiculous height" and just got stuck in a never-ending loop of making characters taller & taller

Character heights in this series have always been fascinating to me ๐

Lindsay's initial thought process of Kuma carrying his bible around so that he can "send people to heaven" and then repent for it immediately had me giggling for a solid two minutes.

I've never thought about this before, was Perona the princess of this arc? Not that every arc has one, just a funny thought

I love that idea that the sword made him bad with directions. That would be so cool. I donโt think itโs canon, but that would explain why he got lost after swimming the river in drum kingdom
Sanji Joestar
Kuma's introduction rewiring brains already

Zoro basically tamed his cursed sword, Sandai Kitetsu

The sword that got destroyed was the one that the shopkeeper gave Zoro after he impressed him by taking the cursed sword.
Extra Crispy
I love Kumas introduction because everyone else in this arc is like campy goofy scary and he comes in and is just actually scary.

Tashigi with the most impossible dream of all one piece

I see people trying to explain the sword rarities. Honestly, I have been a fan of OP for years and never really given a damn about it. If you want to go the extra mile to understand the Wazamono stuff then you definitely can, but it's not something to worry about being forgetful of. When a sword is some sort of legendary blade or has something notable about it, it will be addressed in the story when it's important

A new character has arrived to save the arc ๐ช๐ช๐ฅ๐ฅ

i personaly think that since he got the cursed sword it's when he started getting lost and losing it's sense of direction. he never had this problem in the whole of east blue. and the longer he has it, the worst it get.

don't say spoiler

As everyone's been saying, Zoro still has his cursed sword with him. The one that got destroyed during Enies Lobby was Yubashiri, it was gifted to him by the Loguetown shop owner along with the cursed blade Sandai Kitetsu. There was nothing particularly notable about Yubashiri itself other than Zoro briefly mentioning that it felt sharp yet lightweight and easy to use during his takedown of all the Baroque Works dudes at Whiskey Peak. The cursed sword on the other hand, Sandai Kitetsu, was dubbed a "problem child" by Zoro after it seemingly displayed some hint of bloodlust by somehow making Zoro attack an enemy without his intent. From what I recall that's the first and only bit of trouble this cursed sword has given Zoro. Ever since it's been more or less just a perfectly fine katana.

Gonna miss Perona man :(

Without spoiling: The cursed sword is Sandai Kitetsu, the one that Zoro tried his luck with and threw in the air to cut his arm...he still have that one, its the lowest grade of the ranked sword (so there are 3 levels of the sword ranks, this is the lowest). The one that got rusted was Yubashiri...it was the best sword that the sword shop had but hidden in the back. The "sword that cuts all things" isnt particularly for any sword (although Zoro uses Wado Ichimonji *kuina's sword* when he cut Mr. 1 in Alabasta)...its more about understanding swordsmanship, state of mind, and understanding the "Breath of All Things" that someone is able to cut and not cut all things
cyberc33
He still has the cursed sword. The destroyed one was just the family heirloom of the shop owner.
